18 Hour Tuition

I’m writing as a parent… Mike is fantastic. I got feedback about my daughters progress (all good in my case) she felt very confident with Mike and this ultimately lead to a pass first time. I will be recommending Mike to other parents

1 test and a pass. Lovely bloke, really friendly and an absolute joy to have teach me to drive. I have tried many other driving instructors but no one compares to what Mike has done for me. I couldn’t recommend Mike highly enough to anyone who wanted to pass there test.

If you’re going to spend 36 hours of your week in an enclosed space with someone you don’t know, you had better choose wisely! From the first day, Mike put me, a completely new driver, at ease, and made the experience fun and friendly. He was patient with mistakes, offering helpful, timely reminders/feedback and taking over only when absolutely necessary. He offered consistent encouragement and positive feedback that helped to build my confidence hour by hour. He knew when to keep going and when it was time for a break – he also encouraged open communication and feedback from me and adapted his approach accordingly when appropriate.

There were also a variety of anecdotes and amusing driving-related catchphrases which I’m sure will be with me whenever I’m driving until the day I die!

I ended up passing the practical test first time, after a week’s course. I had not driven before starting the course, aside from half an hour in a car park 7-8 years ago. This is testament to what an amazing driving instructor Mike is – I can’t recommend him highly enough.

I started driving last Saturday and passed first time today! Mike is very friendly, funny and helpful. We stopped if I needed to breathe and calm myself. We had a good chat in between driving as well. Very supportive and wouldn’t have let me do my test if he didn’t think so. Couldn’t have done it without him! Recommended to everyone! 5 stars!
